Forever and a day
That's how long it's been since I've updated my blog, I think. I don't even know where to begin with updating what's been going on in my life. Let's see...
Diet and exercise wise, I'm doing very well. Hanging in there, avoiding cheats (for the most part) and have lost 12 lbs since October 1st. Yay me!
Mom had surgery at the beginning of the month. She's doing very well, recovering quickly, and driving me nuts, basically. I can't wait until she goes back to work. I love my mom but I also love my privacy and my alone time. I've had none of the latter since her surgery. She's constantly up my butt and seems to forget that I'm not a child and I don't need her to tell me how to wash the dishes, clean the house, bathe the dog, what day garbage day is, when the mail runs, what time I should go to sleep, what time I should get up, how strenuously I should exercise, what I should eat, why I'm fat, whom I should date, that I shouldn't drink, etc. etc. etc.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Whew! Glad to get that out of my system. Anyway, she's doing well, feeling great, and should be back to work at the beginning of December. I think we'll both be more sane (and less in danger of violence) when that happens.
John and I are about the same. He's leaving tomorrow for a trip (for a week). He's going with his buddy from work. He won't be back until the day after Thanksgiving. I can't believe his mom isn't upset about it, but I guess they're all celebrating turkey day next Friday instead of Thursday.
We went to the Cavs game this past Monday together. Just the 2 of us. It was fun. After the game we stopped at a local bar where a friend of ours is the bartender and hung out for a couple of hours. It was like a real date, kinda nice. We should have more of those. *sigh*
Anyway, things are pretty much the same, like I said. *shrug*

Well, it's been a long time, but that was definitely worth it. Nice story. Great detective work. Lovely job on the poundage.
When are you haulin' ass down here, girl?

12 pounds that's awesome! Glad to see you updating again. Just another thing to tempt me away from this work I'm supposed to be doing! ;)
